operators, as a complete package deal, or to book your flight and room
separately. Wherever you book your room,

PAYMENTS:
Paying for the class is the same as for US-based
classes—you register with Yvonne Andrus, Ric’s US class organizer, and you
can pay with VISA or MC, a personal check that is written in US $, or an
international money order in US $. Please note that mail from

Payment
by Visa/MC: use the
form on the last page of this info-file for deposits and/or
balances. You can print out the form and then fill it in and mail or fax it to Yvonne; you can scan the filled-in form and email the file to her; or you can copy and paste the last page into a Word file, fill it out on your computer and then email the file to her. (If you email it, then for Internet security, write out every fourth credit card number as a word. For example: 237nine 143six… and do this for the security code as well. This way, any programs out there looking for strings of 16 digit numbers will have no way to spot your card number.

Hotel Playa Esperanza’s Payment / Cancellation policy:
When booking with the
hotel directly they will take your credit card number as a guarantee for the
reservation but they won’t charge you at the time of booking. For cancellations
made between 5-10 days before arrival they will charge one day’s price.
Cancellations made 4 or less days before arrival will be charged 25% of the
full reservation.

Getting from the airport to the hotel:
This will take about 75 Minutes and a taxi cost about € 60 one way
the last time we were there, so it may be a little higher now. There is also a
bus that can be taken from Palma Airport to the central station every 30 Min.
and from there you can catch a bus every hour to Playa de Muro. The bus stops
directly in front of the hotel (stop Number 14—Playa Esperanza).
In addition, about a month before the
start of class, we will organize a Taxi-Share list, to help you find other students to share a taxi
with, who will be arriving approximately the same time as yourself. Students
who have registered will get an email about this at the time.
Renting a Car:
There are many car rental companies in Mallorca, and depending on the time of booking they will have different prices. Usually, better prices are had when booking early. One company that our hotel is working with is Betacar Europcar. They are working with them only from the hotel but I am sure, if you contact them, you can get a car from the airport. Ric & Susanne found good deals (with airport pick-up) with Carjet, at www.carjet.com. Just compare prices as they can vary quite a bit!
TOUR
PACKAGES
The Esperanza hotel is giving us very attractive prices
again. However, sometimes a better bargain can be found through a tour
operator, that may also offer packages with Charter flights that
will be less expensive than a regular flight.. Be aware that with packages, the
rooms are often non-seaview with an additional cost for sea-view, or might be
breakfast only as compared to HB (Half Board, which means full breakfast and
dinner buffets). Below are the tour operators that we know work with our hotel.
Note that for the UK, we only have online companies, and we don’t have any for
the US. If you are traveling from a country that isn’t on the list below,
another option that you can investigate
is the cost of booking with a tour operator that is on the list and then buying
a separate flight to that country. Reminder: It is important that you
have the tour operator put “VORTEXHEALING CONFERENCE” on your reservation.

Deposits & Early Registration Discounts: a discount of $50 for deposits of $300
received by Aug 10, 2009, and/or a discount of $50 for balances paid by Aug 24,
2009.
Refund of Deposits:
Administration fees are $30. An
admin fee will be charged for bounced checks.
Any ‘balance’ payments, in excess of
required ‘deposits’, are fully refundable.
Requested prior to a month before the
class: full refund less the admin fee. Requested
prior to 2 weeks before the class: ½ the deposit refunded, less the admin
fee. Requested within 2 weeks before class: non-transferable/
nonrefundable.
Once class has begun, all tuition payments (deposit + balance) are Non-Refundable.
For canceled classes, all

Transfer of Deposits to Another Class:
Deposits may be transferred only to
classes taught by the same teacher.
Once a deposit is transferred, it is non-refundable; it must be used for a class.
Requested
prior to one month before the class: transfer of full amount of deposit.
Requested prior to 2 weeks before the class: 1/2 of deposit transferred.
Requested within 2 weeks of class: the deposit is Non-Transferable/
Non-Refundable.
If transferred more than once, only the
first deposit is free of admin fees & must be used within 4 years of the
original
canceled
class.
Credit Cards: If the card used is ‘foreign’ relative
to the country of the processing bank, a foreign transaction fee will be added
to the amount. If a 3rd party, such as PayPal, is used to process
the card, their fees will be added to the amount.
