Travel to Graz

Where is Austria in Europe?

http://maps.google.at/maps?hl=de&q=wo+liegt+%C3%96sterreich+in+Europa&um=1&ie=UTF-8&sa=N&tab=il

The city of Graz  is south of Vienna. It has about 250,000 inhabitants and is the second largest city in Austria. Vienna is the biggest city with 1.9 people.

The closest airport to Graz is the Flughafen-Graz:

http://www.flughafen-graz.at/

You can get a taxi to go from the airport to the venue. The taxi-company I would recommend is called “taxi 878”:

call:+43/316/878

The taxi from the airport to the venue will cost you about 40 Euros.

If you´re flying in from the UK (Stansted airport) there are direct flights to Graz

for less than a 100 Pounds round-trip.

Vienna is about two hours north from Graz by car, if you want to fly to Vienna and rent a car.

You can also take a train from Vienna to Graz, this will take you about 2 ½ hours and costs about 37 Euro one way.

You will have to go from Vienna-Südbahnhof to Graz-Hauptbahnhof.

If you arrive by plane and want to use public transportation:

First take the train (there is only one in the airport) to the “Graz-Hauptbahnhof” (main train station).

The link below shows you the times the train runs.

www.flughafen-graz.at/home/an_abreise_uebersicht/Zugfahrplan_2010.pdf

At the “Hauptbahnhof” get on the bus Number 53 (direction “Fuß der Leber”) and get off at the station called “Scherwirt”.

This ride on the bus will take about 35 minutes.

If you get off the bus turn around, walk back about 50 meters (160 feet)  and the class-venue is there on the right side.

If you´re travelling by car, please use the Trip Advisor below to coordinate your travel:

There is a enough  street parking space close to the venue, where you can park your car for free.

Things to do in the area:

The “Lorbeer-Quelle”

This is a natural water source with a really lovely energy.

You can sit near by the source, meditate there, or just relax.

You have to make an appointment to get in, but it is really worth it.
